We want Austin to be more affordable for all.
They say “Love Austin” by voting for a 20% property tax increase.
We say NO because we love Austin.
We do not want Austin to become more unaffordable for our neighbors, families, friends, small businesses, and people - both young and older. This increase will force many who are already struggling to cut other household costs like child care, healthcare, youth sports, or even have to leave Austin for a more affordable place to live.
That is not a choice we are willing to make.
